GET HONEST WITH YOURSELF!
Have you ever heard the sayings, "Honesty is the best policy" or "The truth will set you free"? Well, if you have never heard those statements, I will be the first to tell you that these declarations are true! In order for one to live a balanced, healthy, and happy life, one must learn to get honest with himself or herself. Life isn't about blaming others for all our problems! Life is about self-realization and taking responsibility for one's own actions. Get honest with yourself and set yourself free from the negative shackles that may be holding you back from the life the Universe has to offer.
If you are like me, then you will know the type of person who in their own eyes can never do any wrong. Their pitfalls in life are the direct result of other people's negligence. In my personal life, I know a lady who lives a life of drama. In her mind, everyone is out to get her, everyone is lying, and it's everyone else's fault that she has been kicked out of her last three places of residency. In order for this woman to avoid the ramifications of a jail sentence, my family had to come to her aide once again. However, this lady refuses to be honest as to why her life is in the shambles it is now in. In her mind, no one wants to help her. In all honesty, everyone of her family members and several of her friends have tried to help her, but her anger issues have soiled many of her relationships. If this lady soon cannot get honest with herself, then she may find herself living a very lonely life in her old age.
If things are not working out in your life, one thing you may want to do is to get honest with yourself. Honesty will lead to healing. If you lied to your brother about something of vital importance, then be honest with him and admit your mistakes. Getting honest with yourself can heal many wounds that you may spend a lifetime nursing over and over again. Stop lying to yourself, and stop blaming everything on others. Be an advocate of your own life and learn to get honest with yourself! I bet your life will change!
