SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO FORCE OURSELVES TO CRUSH THE ICE THAT HAS FROZEN OUR HEART!!!
So many circumstances can lead to your heart becoming a solid, chunk of ice! A spouse cheating on you, a parent or child turning his or her back on you, a friend walking out of your life when you need he or she the most, your spouse's family never accepting you, the hurtful comments people have made to you, and I could go on for paragraphs. If we allow ourselves, we could stop associating with all these people who may have hurt us, and in some cases that is for the best especially if the person who hurt you was physically or mentally abusive. However, the best thing to do in these situations is to forgive those people who have hurt you, so your heart does not remain ice cold. Sometimes we have to force ourselves to do difficult things in order to melt that frozen heart. Sometimes we have to be the first ones to apologize or the first ones to forgive. Just remember that just because we forgive does not mean we need to have a relationship again with the person who hurt us. It releases the negative hold that person has on our lives. Learn to release any emotion that would lead to a frozen heart! Let your heart melt with love and share that love with the people who hurt you. Never allow their negativity to ruin your precious heart! Crush the ice and love again!
