DON'T REGRET THE IMPORTANT DECISIONS YOU HAVE MADE IN YOUR LIFE!!!
As I was sitting in my kitchen this evening while trying to fill out another job application, I became very depressed for not having a well-paying job at this point in my life. I was comparing my own situation with other women in my husband's family who are employed full-time with very well-paying jobs. As I began to cry, my husband looked at me, and said that we would never change the decision that I made to stay at home to raise our son. My husband reminded me of all the positives with me being home with our son for the first 10 years of his life. Just because I am not where I would like to be career wise at this point of my life, I have many blessings to be thankful for including wonderful memories that I made with my son in that time period. I have no regrets for putting my career on hold in order to raise my son! Don't have any regrets for the important decisions you make in your life! Only YOU know what is right for you!
How wonderful that you both were able to make that important decision to put your son before your career and subsequently a lot of other material things ... family FIRST n let all the other things of life take 2nd, 3rd .... place!!
