IT'S OKAY TO ADMIT WHEN YOU ARE EMOTIONALLY EXHAUSTED!

Does it ever feel like the world and everyone in it is working against you in negative ways? Do you ever feel that you will scream if one more person brings drama into your life? Does everyone come to you and depend on you whenever they are facing problems in their own lives? There will be times in our lives when we feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders. When this happens, it is okay to admit that you are emotionally exhausted.

There may be times in our lives when we will have to protect our loved ones from unnecessary stresses. Even though my husband has been through the most trying time of his life, and he has battled cancer and has won, his family still has been bringing stressful situations into our lives every two to three months. However, there comes a time when you need to take a stand, and you need to put an end to all unnecessary drama in your life. Let these people, who are always bringing stress into you life, know that you will no longer put up with their nonsense. Admit to them that you are emotionally exhausted.

This is exactly what I had to do today; I had to admit to a family member that I am emotionally exhausted, and I have decided that I am no longer going to associate with anyone who wants to bring drama into my life. My family has our own problems to deal with on a daily basis, and we do not have time to participate in their childish antics. When people bring drama into your life, take a stand and protect yourself and those closest to you. Life is not meant to be a never-ending soap opera, so don't get caught up in that kind of lifestyle. If you need to take a mental vacation, admit that you are emotionally exhausted and do not participate in society's games.
